Went to see MÁM at the Blackbox in Galway tonight – and the breathing, the weaving, the sheer energy is still keeping me in a semi-hypnotic state! (Cormac Begley’s wonderful concertina had a lot to do with it, too 🙂 … Looking forward to guesting with Ger Clancy and Kevin Hough tomorrow afternoon in Monroe’s in Galway – fast becoming a legendary weekly session!
More tunes then tomorrow night in Cois Cuain, in Spiddal, from 9.30pm in with James O Donoghue.
What a session last Friday in Monroe’s, the tunes were flying, the craic was mighty and the pizza superb! Thanks to Gary Monroe et al!

It was a lovely night of tunes in Leitir Mór – kind of a long road west!-: but worth it for sure! Thanks to Mary Shannon for the mighty fine banjo and John and Steve Sweeney and the whole gang. And beautiful singing from Roisin Seoighe and Sarah Ghriallais!
