It was a whirlwind of a week, but a very pleasant one. With The Molly Hicks, I guested at the Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival in Waterford. A great night, a lot of impromptu music and a lot of fun. After that a wonderful few days in Kinnitty Castle, in Co. Offaly. Some inspiring and wonderful music from Norway and Cap Breton and Ireland :- and just some wonderful old and new friends. Gig tonight in the Station House Hotel in Clifden with Darren Roberts. I am delighted that Steve Sweeney and Ged Foley will join me for two more upcoming CD release gigs at the End of September in Kinvara and in Dublin and we are putting some very special material together. (check out the gig calendar) Last but not least, Féileacán na Saoirse has received extensive airplay on RnaG and ClareFM’s Westwind with Caoimhín Ó Sé. Delighted!:- In the next few days I will post some video footage from The Phil-Murphy-Weekend.

It s a beautiful sunny day in galway and we had a lovely session yesterday in Connolly’s in Kinvara. One of those great nights of driving tunes and heartfelt songs.
