so saddened to hear of the passing of one of my favourite musicians ever, John Murphy – a wonderful advocate for Irish traditional music and American music – so many great memories over the years from the Phil-Murphy weekends and sessions around the 2000s and later on going down to do some gigs and concerts. Heartfelt condolences to Teresa and Pip and all of Johns family and his Carraig -on-Bannow community and friends. What a loss to traditional music! RIP John. 🎶💔
